In Mater Iniciativa, part of the work we seek to perform relates to an understanding of the agricultural production process, to have more efficient crops and contribute to food security assurance.

In MIL, we have agreed to work the land with Mullaka’ s-Misminay and Kacllaraccay peasant communities. These communities produce, among other products, potatoes, beans, ocas, quinoa, kañiwa, kiwicha and mashuas. Jointly with Céline Morançay, we developed an agricultural calendar that helps the communities to organise their crops and optimise their production.

In our case, this calendar will help MIL to schedule the orders depending on harvest seasons and change the menu dishes according to seasonal products or crops, as well as foresee the alterations climate change may generate.
