SOCIAL IMPACT OF AGRICULTURAL WORK IN MIL

Sierra Ponthier researched the impact the farm we have next MIL have had on Kacllaraccay and Mullak' as Misminay communities.

Before opening MIL, we did some research with the communities to understand how they worked and what their needs and beliefs were. After that, we began working with them on the farm. Then came MIL. Previous work was essential, both for them and for us. Nowadays, we have a close relationship with the community, which is built little by little, and we keep learning.

Sierra's work contributed to our better understanding. She spent three months with the communities and interviewed them about their experiences. This helped us to understand how communities use our fields, what they expect to plant in the future and identify opportunities for MIL to become even stronger.
