Q'aqe

Q´AQE means bitter in Quechua. These bitters are made with herbs, roots and other wild plants foraged in and around Mil, in Moray. They are catalogued by Mater and picked together with the neighboring communities.

Q´AQE is made with traditional methods by Manuel Contreras, head of Mil’s beverage program, a beverage researcher and empirical expert on Peru’s endemic botanicals.
