We explore, investigate, document, and interpret.
(2013 - 2025) We map territories and seek to gather knowledge about resources, inputs, and people, in order to understand, and then to value.
In this way, Mater connects gastronomy with science, arts, humanities, and other disciplines, to develop a method that observes beyond the obvious, promoting exchange and counting on Central and Kjolle in Lima, MIL in Cusco, and MAZ in Tokyo as our main platforms for exhibition.
There is more outside.
We are a team led by three people and composed of specialists from various fields, which allows us to apply a holistic view to each of our findings.

Centers
Barranco, Lima.
Linked with the gastronomic spaces of Casa Tupac: Central and Kjolle, we design projects in 4 Departments: Arts & Culture, Humanities, Academia, and Ideas and Applications.
Moray, Cusco.
In our headquarters in Cusco, located at Mil Centro in Moray, Maras, we carry out fieldwork that directly connects with the ecological, geographical, and social environment of the region, particularly with the local farming communities of K'acllaraccay and Mullaka's Misminay, who are an integral part of the team in various projects, including Chacra MIL, Warmi, and Ethnobotanical Catalog.
