01
LOCAL INFORMATION

The project's approach combines scientific data collection with the cultural and personal narratives of local communities. Through collaboration with local informants, each sample's record will be enriched with stories and uses that make it meaningful, fostering a deeper understanding of biodiversity and its connection to local culture.

02
Sample Documentation

This process includes visual documentation and technical data, covering information such as scientific name, common name, local name, and applications and uses (medicinal, dyeing, culinary, and others with cultural significance). Laboratory tests are also conducted, when necessary, to determine the photochemical characteristics of the samples.
